Angry Eighth birthday

You are an amazing boy! You have an addictive laugh, a compassionate heart, a will not quit attitude, do everything at 100%, love to play soccer, and love chapstick!! You are a shining light in my life, little boy. I love you and am trying to cherish this time when you still need me and want to be around me. It will go too fast! Happy eighth birthday!

Back to School

We had a great summer full of swimming, boat rides, lake trips, beach trips, camping trips, going to the movies, playing in the mud, hanging out in our underoos (boys, not me), and mastering our cannonballs. Time to get back into our routine. Loving the photo shoot before school this year.

The boys both had end of the year programs. Luke got an "outstanding penmanship" award. Here he is with some of his classmates.
He also received a "contentment" characteristic award for not complaining at school.

Sam also had a graduation ceremony and was asked some questions about what his favorite things in school to do was and what he wanted to be when he grew up....this was his answer "Uhhhh?"

The whole class also recited Psalm 23....pretty amazing.
